Like some of you, my initial candidate is not in the runoff, so I am proud to endorse Chris for mayor. In the time that he has lived here, Chris has given more to our community than many residents have contributed in decades. He has shown, time and again, that his commitment to our island goes far beyond words. Through his volunteer work with numerous community organizations, his dedicated service on City Council, and his regular presence at board and commission meetings, Chris demonstrates a deep understanding of the issues that matter most to our residents.
Chris is guided by integrity and genuine care for our community—not by special interests. He has no conflicts of interest with the business community and has consistently proven that his decisions are driven by what’s best for our families and our quality of life. As we look to the future, it is critical that we preserve the family-friendly character that makes our island such a special place to live. Chris has the knowledge, experience, and heart to do exactly that, and I am confident that he will serve us well as mayor.
