Folly’s future depends on a healthy beach and strong infrastructure. Protecting our shoreline through dune management and renourishment safeguards homes, supports local businesses, and sustains our economy. Investing in drainage, the causeway, and long-term infrastructure keeps our community resilient and ready for the challenges ahead.
As Mayor, I will focus on turning the Folly 2050 Plan from ideas into action; raising and protecting the causeway, addressing septic risk, improving drainage, and restoring our marsh and dune buffers. These are long-term projects that will take years of consistent effort and close collaboration with state and federal partners to secure funding and technical support. But we need to start now to ensure the livability and safety of our island for generations to come.
